North Dakota manufacturers have unique challenges not common to other sectors.

The need to invest high levels of capital in \;automation\, the diversity of industries within the sector\, and an ever increasing specialized talent pool makes \;for a challenge \;when it comes to lobbying state legislators and policymakers.
\n\n
The Greater North Dakota Chamber understands this and wants to make sure North Dakota'\;s \;manufacturers \;are \;heard during the 2017 legislative session.
\n\n
That'\;s why - \;at the request of several manufacturers from across our state - \;we are holding a special focus group session to explore the issues facing the manufacturing sector. \;
\n\n
The information we gather from this focus group will better equip GNDC to put together a message that will be shared with legislators and policymakers in the upcoming legislative session.
