Best Practices for Manufacturers Operating During COVID-19

Manufacturing is a critical industry for North Dakota's economy. Their products, delivered locally and globally, are created by an essential workforce working in the confines of each facility dictated by an assembly line for efficiency. These production facilities were not included in any closing mandates as ordered by Governor Burgum, yet they have had to adapt how they make and facilitate production for the safety of products and personnel.

Guidance for manufacturers is ever-changing and clarity is still needed to sort through regulation and red tape. The Greater North Dakota Chamber, Impact Dakota, and the North Dakota Department of Commerce have partnered up to provide a discussion focused around operational best practices that allowed this critical industry to continue during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This interactive conversation will provide an update from the ND Dept of Health Food and Lodging Director, Julie Wagendorf. She will outline guidance in combination with real-world implementation examples that comply with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Food manufacturers have had the most stringent guidance placed upon their operations and awareness or understanding of policies or procedures will benefit any manufacturers in attendance.

Besides providing an interactive experience, the goal of this webinar is to better inform participants of constantly changing guidelines to apply in their own facilities.
