Join us at the North Dakota State College of Science Skills and Technology Center in Fargo, for the next Greater North Dakota Chamber CEO Roundtable on Wednesday, June 19 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will focus on North Dakota’s economy and workforce attraction and development.
Mark Schill, Vice President of Research at Praxis Strategy Group will discuss North Dakota’s economy. Perhaps the nation’s most dynamic state economy, North Dakota’s mix of commodity-based industry, educated young workforce, robust higher-education system, and pockets of technology growth place it in a unique position. Mark will outline several key economic, demographic, and workforce trends impacting the business community across state and its metro- and micropolitan areas.
Jill Berg, President of Spherion Staffing Services, in Fargo, will discuss looking at the talent you already have on staff and ways that you can take those employees to the next level.
A panel discussion on Developing a 21st Century Skilled Workforce featuring Don Shilling, President of General Equipment and Supplies; John Richman, President of North Dakota State College of Science; and a representative from Microsoft.
We will finish the day with Kimberly Wold Janke, Senior Vice President and Brand Strategist at Flint Group. She will share branding strategies your firm can use to attract great employees.
