April 17, 2024The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) is pleased to announce the distinguished presenters for its upcoming luncheon honoring this year’s 15 Women You Need to Know and 5 Women to Watch in ND Business. The event will take place on May 7 at Sixteen 03 Main Events in Bismarck.
Dr. Kristi Jean, Quality Engineer at ComDel Innovation in Wahpeton, ND, will be one of the featured presenters at the event. Dr. Jean brings a wealth of experience in product development and manufacturing, serving a variety of markets including medical, commercial, agriculture, and aerospace. Dr. Jean's portfolio includes numerous fledging customers in the medical arena, guiding them through the FDA landscape.
Dr. Jean's commitment to education and community engagement is evident in her tenure at NDSCS, where she co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, secured STEM-related grants, and was selected as a Nation Science Foundation (NSF) Innovation Coach. She has also been instrumental in promoting careers in STEM and encouraging young women to pursue non-traditional roles. Dr. Jean received the FIRST® LEGO® League Coach award in 2011 and has been actively involved in various community organizations.
Representative Emily O'Brien, Chief Operating Officer for the Bioscience Association of North Dakota, will also be presenting at the luncheon.
