• GNDC to hold Virtual CEO Roundtable Series on ND Workforce

BISMARCK - The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) announced that they will hold their CEO Roundtable event as a virtual series in June. Occurring June 9, 16, and 23, the series, entitled “ND Workforce: A Changing Landscape” breaks down into three sections focusing on different impacts to workforce - data trends, employment law, and the human element.

GNDC holds four CEO Roundtable events throughout the year. They are open to are CEO/C-suite leadership as well as business owners, managers, supervisors, and other company leaders. Typically held in-person, this will be the first time GNDC has held this signature event virtually. There is no charge to attend the event for GNDC members and those that are seriously interested in joining the Chamber may be able to attend.

“North Dakota’s workforce has been challenged by many exterior and interior forces. We’ve gone from brain drain in the ’90s, to oil boom around 2010, to now record unemployment numbers due to ramifications from the Coronavirus. We chose the topic for our series to bring focus to the multiple facets of the workforce landscape,“ stated Arik Spencer, GNDC CEO and President. “Given the current situation, to remain safe and also cognizant of people's full schedules, we have slated this upcoming CEO Roundtable to be a virtual series.”
